Demarest Farms is the best place in town to go and pick your favorite fruits such as: apples, peaches, pumkins and more. Located in the town is Pascack Valley High School, part of the Pascack Valley Regional High School District. The high school was named an Apple Distinguished Schools at least 3 times in recent years. The Recreation Department puts on summer concert series at Veterans Park, where residents enjoy a variety of bands.
